Meet Jessica Palmer, a community-focused professional who has spent her career caring for others and now brings that same dedication to On The Mend.
1. Where did you grow up, how big was your family?
I grew up in Beacon Falls, CT. I’m an only child, but had all the animals. Dogs, cats, and horses.
2. What have you done professionally?
Professionally, I’ve had two main careers. I worked in childcare and managed a horse farm where I also taught lessons, as well as all the behind-the-scenes operations. Now I’m here at On The Mend!
3. Favorite job and why?
I’d have to say On The Mend is my favorite job. Every path I’ve taken, I have always been in some way, shape, or form aiding or helping people, and now that is the main focus which I love. I’ve met so many people already and love to hear their stories and be able to build relationships with them.
4. How do you like spending free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog Scout. He’s a black lab with 3 legs.
5. 2025 and beyond goals?
My goals for the future would be to continue to be happy, to learn, and to grow!
6. Why do you like working at OTM?
I’ve met so many people already and love to hear their stories and be able to build relationships with them.
7. Favorite restaurant or things to cook and eat?
I enjoy all types of food, however my go to would always be Italian… or really good tacos!
8. Travel destination?
I’ve never really traveled much, however my favorite place would be without a doubt New Hampshire.
