Airmersus®Mattress is a non-powered self adjusting immersion surface with optional alternating pressure (APM) therapy. Airmersus maxmizes body weight distribution and minimizes tissue interface by automatically adjusting internal air pressure in reaction to patient body weight and movement. This self adjusting air-foam mattress can provide high specification performance, comfort, postural support, pressure relief, and fall prevention for extended periods. The foot section is uniquely designed and angled to float the heel for ergonomic offloading. Firm safety bolsters help promote safer transfers and can allow greater standing balance when standing up upon bed exit. The waterproof TPU coated 4 way stretch-knit fabric prevents friction and shear. The mattress is convertible from self-adjusting immersion mode to APM mode easily, by simply connecting the Airmersus Power Unit to the mattress for cycled alternating pressure therapy. 500 LB weight capacity.
