Boss whenever you’re ready, okay. Hey World Wide Web, essential workers, COVID survivors, COVID fighters, all the above trying to stretch out here, Liam here from On The Mend. We’re down in Mount Kisco on location. You know we opened in Mount Kisco on June January 3, we had the grand opening we had this we had that we had Richmond Community Center, we had the lovely people from Finger Lake School of Massage and Epidavros Day Spa Great Day Spa by the way. We did some advertising and then unfortunately COVID happened and it’s been everybody’s been in a battle so we’re kind of reintroducing our brand here.
So as you guys know, we had to we did get specific and and we kind of jumped into action. And pivoted a little bit into some COVID supplies (face masks, lysol wipes, lysol spray, gloves, N95 masks, hand sanitizer, etc.) but we went just want to remind Westchester County, Putnam County of Westchester County that we’re here. We want to serve you.
We have the gear to keep you safe coming into your home. I did a home assessment and so much today. I did a home assessment in Katonah today. And I did a home assessment in Larchmont today that I’m headed up to Roxbury and then I’m going to end my assessments today in Woodbury but just want to let you know we’re here and as people are moving their parents and loved ones into their homes or back into their homes or if you’re coming out of rehab On The Mend Medical Supplies & Equipment, 280 North Bedford Road, Mount Kisco, to your great town. Great Mayor, Mayor Gina rocks by the way, but great Chamber of Commerce with Beth. I mean, so many great things about mount Kisco. We just kind of want to return your mind to the market. Let you know so we’re gonna bring inside show you some of our branding obviously the heart. For those of you that don’t know I actually had somebody that asked me why there why I had a heart on my sleeve. But we support first responders we support anybody that has your back against the wall like most of the nation with COVID-19 and we’re certainly here to help it anyway.
Come on in. We rent medical equipment, free home safety assessments. Here we got so we got the queen of our mount Kisco store. Kimberly Marie Kim’s here to help you. As you can see, we have set up our own Plexiglas. We had Bethel glass come down and take care of us so that you’re safe from us. We’re safe from our Kim safe from you, but as you can see, we have a variety of higher end home care beds in stock, we have your question in here, all the code slides you can need and listen.
There’s nothing cheap about COVID supplies. Let’s face it, there was a time when only 4% of the world or, you know, the workforce needed rubber gloves. Now everybody does. There was no time in the world where only 2% of vocations and 2% of employers needed to supply things like surgical masks and N95 masks and whatnot. Now it’s 100% of the country so therefore, supply and demand it’s been real crapshoot but want to let you know we have some really good hand sanitizers cleaning solution, sani wipes, Lysol, 80 pack wipes, big deal to big deal right now. Boy if I was younger, I could be hitting the hitting the scene with these and this is this would be the, you know, it’s a very wanted item. Let’s just go with that.
We got our Golden chairs. We always keep a variety of chairs we have more in the back Golden Technologies lift and reclining chairs. Five years full warranty six, seven and eight are reclining Jason Davis, Tom Corey. All the guys at Golden, Tom Golden, just grinding it out, you know, keep in mind their manufacturers in America, Old Forge, Pennsylvania. They’ve been shut down but somehow in some way they’ve been keeping us in the in the chair business. So we really appreciate that. As you go through here, alternating pressure solutions, we have all kinds of ambulatory aids. Stander, we got the Stander Be Independent. Kim brought something new in here, which is cool is back up. This is the first time I’m actually touching this thing or seeing it
To walk and stick for how, I don’t know just seems cooler legend to the floss style, like, you know, there’s a Vietnam vet somewhere that would really, really cool we’re walking down the street with this thing rather than a regular cane. So, you know, as I said, reintroduction, we have all your ambulatory, we got rent me signs. So funny.
Came to Mount Kisco, one of the doctors Kim. What doctor was that? They started recommending hip chairs. So they’ve really been instrumental New York introduced the hip chairs to us. We didn’t have them in Southbury. Kim found it. It’s been great. You can read it. All kinds of scooters, all kinds of bracing. We have our very semi private compression area back here. Toilet, our bathroom safety. See, we got our bathroom safety over here. So we have everything you need, whether you need to rent, own, we have same day delivery, we are fast, we care. And we want to let you know if you have indeed if you’re moving somebody from an assisted living out, if you’re moving somebody from you know, from them living independently into your home, whatever it is, we can come into your home and do the types of things like stair lifts and barrier free showers and all the all the things that you need to to stay as independent as possible. in your own home or in the environment that you want to live not that you have to live we can make your environment just as safe as any type of assisted living. And we want you to know that that we’re just a phone call away. You don’t have to come to the store, we can do. We can do touchless, we can do deliveries for you, we can come into your home, all geared up in our towns as we have been doing in the past.
And, you know, Kim if you would just get a, you know, all our tag lines, all our sayings are all just things that we mean from the bottom of our heart like this is I love that we treat people the way we want our parents to be treated like I want to treat your mom the way I want my mom to be treated and that that’s what spurred this whole business. That’s what this business is about. We got standing transfer aids, we got patient lift systems, all kinds of solutions. We do a lot of work with people with ALS, MS, muscular dystrophy, we’re really really passionate about helping those that that for for unlucky reasons or whatever you want to call the process of who gets ALS and who gets MS and who doesn’t get affected by any kind of illness, but those are the people we want to help. And we’re damn passionate about it. And if we can’t add value, you know, we’ll take we, we take it seriously and if we so we need to add value for us to be successful and that’s the truth.
So, just kind of a re upping. Let me know I also have on the back here. These are the guidelines that I use in hiring employees and all of my employees and all of our team, starting with Marsi Claire Beck, who probably invented all these words to Kim Murray, Joe D to Max Retallick, Kenny Drace.
