What is your role at NCE: CEO
What does NCE stand for? My father’s name, Nissan, my name (Chaim) and my brother, Eli. Together we’ve created NCE.
Before working at NCE what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? Flight Nurse. I would fly critically ill patients to higher level facilities on private carrier aircraft. To date, my most memorable trip & patient care was to Israel. (I’ve kept my nursing certification as well as my EMT credentials).
How do you balance your career at NCE and family? Honestly, Work, life, balance is a struggle however; my family time is of paramount importance to me. I simply am consistent with what we have planned every day/week.
What do you find the most challenging at NCE? Keeping high quality care givers while growth continues to excel.
What do you like most about NCE? The ability to make a difference to so many families & to be able to employ so many people.
What have you gained from working at NCE? Making a difference in the industry.
What is your proudest moment at NCE? Whenever I hear of my employees going above & beyond…which is frequently!
What would people never guess you do in your role? Take out the trash! I like my staff to have a clean bin to start the day.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this? I feel this is my calling, I cannot even think or conjure another career!?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Continued growth of NCE, doing what we’re doing & making a difference in peoples lives.
Where is your favorite place to eat? Kosher World in Waterbury
You’re happiest when? When a family tells us how helpful our staff is & everything with starting our services was easy.
